Does Sales Rookie verify employees?At Sales Rookie, we aim to verify as much of our data as possible. Considering the reality of our digital age, however, we're unable to fully confirm our users' identities, the truthfulness of their contributions, or their employment status. Through our Terms of Use, we do require users to certify their employee relationships to companies when posting any content. We also require email verification from a permanent, active email address, or a valid social networking account. Along with our active community moderation and our commitment to review every contribution, this verification process helps us identify suspicious users or posts and ensures our confidence in the information we provide to potential sales reps.

Why are Sales Rookie reviews anonymous?At Sales Rookie, we believe in the value that Free Speech provides to society. The supreme court has repeatedly ruled that the right to anonymous free speech is protected by the First Amendment. In the context of Sales Rookie, anonymity allows sales reps to speak freely about their experience with a company without fear of retaliation or retribution.

Can Sales Rookie remove my company from the site?Industry transparency is a core part of our mission here at Sales Rookie, so we can’t agree to remove any company profiles from our site. Relevant law allows us to host employer profiles without having to ask for permission.

Why can’t I find my company?Due to the difficulty of compiling a comprehensive list of all companies in the industry, we rely on the assistance of our users to notify us when we are missing information about a company. If you’d like to review an unlisted company click here and select 'other' as the company name If you own or manage an unlisted company send us an email with your company's name, logo, and industry.

What can I do about a review that contains false or defamatory information?Honesty is one of our core values at Sales Rookie. We make a concerted effort to ensure that all reviews contain true information while balancing the need for free speech. If you believe that a review is inconsistent with our community guidelines help us out by flagging it for review. We also have options for companies who would like to have the last word regarding their reviews by giving them access to respond publicly to reviews on their page.
